Shree Heat Shield AAC Blocks are made with cement, fly ash and lime. Steam curing, also known as autoclave, is used to cure them. They are certified under the green rating system as a result of the sustainable material category, so the builder gains credit points for using them.

Do these blocks need a vapour barrier in exterior applications?
No. Construction with AAC provides a solid, monolithic wall system with an enclosed, non-connected cellular structure. To complement this structure, exterior finishes are designed to provide a healthy balance between moisture resistance and vapour diffusion. By pushing water vapour out through the walls, the air conditioning system prevents moisture from penetrating.
