A product line of Shree Cement Limited, Shree Heat Shield is made in India’s most advanced AAC blocks manufacturing unit powered by German technology (Wehrhahn). An entirely automated plant that complies with precise manufacturing practices providing unparalleled quality.
As the market leader, our plant set standards in cost-effectiveness and energy-saving management: using energy-saving motors, electric energy-saving systems, and heat and steam recovery systems. Intelligent machine settings and recording of production and process data enable us to produce AAC blocks most efficiently.
Our 1st manufacturing plant with an installed capacity of 3,60,000 cubic meters, is located in Bulandshahar-UP, just a short distance from Delhi. The plant machinery was procured from Wehrhahn, a world-class company from Germany which supplies complete plants and individual machines customized to the specific requirements of their clients.
Our 2nd Manufacturing plant with an annual installed capacity of 2,20,000 cubic meters is located in Hapur U.P. Both of these state-of-the-art plants ensure outstanding levels of productivity and flexibility: zero system waste, highest-precision cutting, low energy requirements (optimum kWh/m3 values) and minimal consumption of raw materials.
Raw Material Preparation
Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is produced by mixing the raw materials sand or pulverized fuel ash, cement, anhydrite (gypsum), lime, water and a small quantity of aluminum powder.
Dosing And Mixing System
The fully automated dosing and mixing plant enables accurate dosing, weighing and mixing of all raw materials. The mixture is then poured into moulds, where chemical reactions cause it to rise like a cake.
After the cake has attained sufficient strength, it is removed from the mould and cut with wires and knives into blocks or panels with precision accuracy. Hand holds, tongue and groove are cut before the cake is autoclaved in order to avoid milling into the hardened material.
Autoclaving Or Curing
After cutting, the AAC is hardened by autoclaving in a saturated steam atmosphere at a temperature of approx. 180 – 190°C. It is this steam curing that creates the unique crystalline structure and lends AAC its excellent qualities in comparison to building materials which are not steam cured.
Sorting And Packing
After autoclaving the blocks or panels are packed and are then ready for dispatch to the construction site.
What is autoclaved aerated concrete?
Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is a lightweight, precast building material used worldwide. AAC blocks are available in a range of sizes and are ideal for structural walls, firewalls, sound walls, floors, and roofs.
What type of finishes is available?
AAC blocks can be finished with a variety of conventional exterior finishes, such as plastering and painting. Other options such as stucco, acrylic finishes, brick, stone, siding, or approved paints can also be used. On the inside of the building, AAC Block may be directly finished with Gypsum boards sheetrock, plaster, stucco, wood panel or tiles.
Can Shree Heat Shield AAC Blocks be cut/sawed easily?
Yes, you can cut or saw these blocks as per desired size or angles.
